Valor Education Acquires Building for Its Expansion in San Antonio

Valor San Antonio Set to Open for 2023-2024 School Year

SAN ANTONIO, TX (April 3, 2023) – Valor Education, a network of tuition-free K-12 classical charter schools, announces it has purchased and is renovating a 93,000 square foot building situated on 11 acres near the intersection of Loop 410 and Babcock Road in northwest San Antonio. The property located at 4300 Crestview Drive was most recently occupied by SWBC.

"The new Valor Education San Antonio campus will serve as our flagship location as we begin to serve the families and educate the children of this great community," said Steve Gordon, Superintendent of Valor Education School District. "We are proud and committed to our long-term presence and expansion in San Antonio," added Gordon.

Valor Education operates distinctive K-12 tuition-free classical charter schools in Texas. The Valor model has enjoyed high enrollment and success in Austin, Texas and is expanding into San Antonio this fall.

"The Classical Education offered at Valor Education is a proven, A-Rated District," said Valor Education San Antonio Headmaster Mark Discher. "Our vision is to replicate the success and demand we have experienced at our Valor Education schools in Austin," added Discher.

The Valor San Antonio campus is currently undergoing renovation of the expansive building and property, which will include a gymnasium, a sports field, and a garden area for enrichment.
