Valor Education and American Constructors Celebrate New Kyle Campus
Nov. 11 Grand Opening Ceremony Marks Official Completion of Phase I of K-12 School
KYLE, TEXAS (Nov. 14, 2022) — On Nov. 11, Valor Education and American Constructors celebrated the grand opening of Valor Kyle, a K-12 tuition-free charter school. Phase 1 of the campus was completed in July and opened to students in August for the start of the 2022 school year. The ceremony officially celebrated the grand opening of Valor’s third campus to serve the greater Austin area and included remarks from Valor leadership, presentations from scholars, and tours of the building.
“We are deeply grateful for the many partners—philanthropists, community leaders, our construction and design teams—who came together today in support of Valor Kyle,” said Jesse Bates, Chief Operating Officer of Valor Education. “This beautiful school campus would not have been possible without the collaboration and goodwill of all who contributed. Families in Hays county are eager for Valor’s K-12 tuition-free classical education, and we are excited about the positive impact Valor Kyle will have for years to come.”
Built by American Constructors and designed by Haddon + Cowan Architects, the 60,440 SF, two-story campus features 33 classrooms, nine small groups spaces, a multi-purpose cafeteria and gym, a library, an outdoor basketball court and soccer field, as well as a 90-vehicle parking lot. Phase I of the campus is built to accommodate 800 students from kindergarten through eighth grade.

Valor Education continues to expand to serve a growing student population, with plans for a 51,407 SF, three-story addition to the North Austin campus, as well as a landscaped courtyard for outdoor learning. American Constructors will again serve as the general contractor for this project, which will break ground in December 2022 and is expected to open in early 2024.
